LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Kim LaSata on Friday announced Lake Side Fit of Bridgman as the next recipient of her Small Business of the Month award.
Lake Side Fit offers a range or services including yoga, fitness classes, 24-hour gym access, massage and wellness therapy and more. Owner Lacey Lucas maintained her hard work and dedication as the coronavirus caused unprecedented hurdles for small businesses. During the statewide shutdowns, she made YouTube videos to continue helping people in her community stay fit and healthy and hosted outdoor classes at the beach.
“Lacey has shown incredible dedication to both a healthy lifestyle and helping people in her community — especially during the unknowns of the pandemic,” said LaSata, R-Coloma. “I want to congratulate her as a recipient and for her continued success. I’d like the community to join me in wishing her the best as her business continues to grow.”
Residents wishing to nominate a small business may do so at www.StateSenatorKimLaSata.com/business-of-the-month/ or by sending an email to [email protected]. Nominations only need to be submitted once.
