LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Kim LaSata on Tuesday announced a new Small Business of the Month award to honor local Southwest Michigan enterprises.
“The past year has been difficult for all of us, and particularly for local businesses, which have endured hardship through numerous government orders in response to the coronavirus,” said LaSata, R-Bainbridge Township. “My Small Business of the Month award program is one way that we can show our appreciation and highlight these hardworking and dedicated Southwest Michiganders. I look forward to giving them the recognition they deserve.”
LaSata also invited residents to nominate businesses for consideration. They can be submitted by filling out a form at www.statesenatorkimlasata.com/business-of-the-month/.
District residents wishing to submit a nomination should include the nominee’s name and location and a description of why the nominee deserves an award.
