LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Kim LaSata welcomed the 2019 Blossomtime court to the Michigan Capitol on Tuesday.
“For more than a century, the Blossomtime Festival has brought together communities throughout Southwest Michigan to showcase and celebrate its scenic beauty and agricultural heritage,” said LaSata, R-Bainbridge Township. “I congratulate this year’s winners and thank them for being such great representatives of our part of the state.”
The Blossomtime Festival, established in 1906, is the oldest and largest multi-community festival in the state of Michigan.
